2024 Powell Advanced Summer Institute

August 2024 (Exact dates will be announced) | At the Henry and Sandra Friedman Holocaust Center for Humanity, Seattle
The Holocaust Center for Humanity offers an intensive 3-day advanced summer institute designed for teachers of grades 8-12 who have been actively teaching the Holocaust for more than three years.
Accommodations will be provided. | Seminar is limited to 20 participants. | Teachers in the Pacific Northwest states are given first priority. | 24 Clock Hours
In a collaborative environment, participants will explore topics related to Holocaust history, identity, resistance, memory and memorials, and contemporary issues.
Each day will focus on selected themes and will include reference and discussion of today’s world and practical applications for the classroom.
